Celia deMayo, PT, MS, MA, OCSEducation
Celia Sabin deMayo PT, MS, MA, OCS is well versed in the treatment of individuals with orthopedic, as well as neurological disorders. She received her Master of Arts degree in Physical Therapy from Stanford University in 1984. Prior to that, Celia received her Master of Science degree in Kinesiology at UCLA, where she studied Neuromotor Control. Her work experience includes many years at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a large trauma and rehabilitation hospital, where she was the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and did Industrial Rehabilitation from acute injury to return to work, including case management. She is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of Spinal Disorders by the McKenzie Institute. Celia was board certified in Orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association in 2007. Celia's primary interests include treatment of disorders in the neck and back, as well as joints of the arms and legs. Additionally, she excels in treating individuals with neurological diseases, as well as children with torticollis and developmental delays. In her spare time, Celia enjoys taking jazz dance classes. Celia is bilingual in English and Spanish. |
