Mary McGregor, PT, MPT, OCS

Mary McGregor PT, MPT, OCS, has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Washington University located in her hometown of Bellingham, WA. She received a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the Mayo Clinic in 2000. She began practicing physical therapy in a hospital setting. She worked with a variety of patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular and general medical problems. Later, she began practicing therapy in an outpatient orthopedic setting where she rehabilitated individuals of all ages. After relocating to Los Angeles, Mary continued to work in an outpatient setting. She is trained in Pilates and incorporates this into her treatments when appropriate.

In 2004 Mary joined Kern and Associates and became involved in the chronic pain program. She works closely with the therapists at Kern and other healthcare professional at UCLA for a team approach treatment for patients with chronic pain. In 2006 Mary completed a year long continuing education course with Joe Godges PT, DPT, OCS, focusing on advance manual therapy skills. In 2007 she received her OCS and became board certified in Orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association. In 2008 Mary became the assistant director at Kern. Mary is back in school and is taking classes towards her doctorate degree in physical therapy and will complete this in the spring of 2009.
